Taking A Look At Anonymous Surfing Software

My job allows for telecommuting and involves a fair amount of travel. I usually go to Internet cafes whenever I need to go online. Restaurants, hotels, and malls with free Wi-Fi are also favored destinations.

Lately, however, I am considering getting anonymous surfing software. I have not tried doing any online banking or purchases when I use these public Wi-fi networks nor am I likely to do so. But it’s true that I spend a significant amount of time doing my business and personal correspondence outside the office and my home.

I don’t really mind my Internet activity being traced back to whatever machine or laptop I am using. And at this point, I can’t tell how much of a risk I am at from identity theft or having sensitive business or personal information falling into the wrong hands, which are my main concerns.  Still, I think I will take another look at anonymous surfing and what it can do for me.
