Why can’t work wear be warmer?
At this time of year, I find it horrendously difficult to drag myself out of bed. The thought of work makes me want to crawl right back underneath the covers, and hibernate. And it’s not because I don’t enjoy the office! In fact, I am one of the lucky few that do what they love as a career, but when it’s icy cold outside, and the run from the bed to the shower feels like a marathon, even I don’t want to go in. It doesn’t help that my work wear does nothing to keep out the cold, and working in an office means that I can’t even wear a fleece like several of my friends outside of work do. All I can do now is grin and bear it, and pray for the warmer months to come quickly. In the meantime, maybe I’ll convince my boss that working from my bed is a good idea?! I can’t see it somehow!
