For good quality designer t-shirts, where do you go? It’s like a jungle out there, and sometimes it’s really hard to detect the real finds from the fakes. The problem is that you can’t know for sure until a couple of washes in. A good quality designer tee should not only be made well (the stitching, sizing, and so on), but also the material should be good quality, otherwise it’s likely to shrink, stretch, or discolour. Also, where possible, please do and try to choose fair trade standard clothing. This means that the farmers who supply the cotton for the tee, or whatever they put into it, are paid a fair wage – and when you’re paying for designer, who can expect any less?
