Activites Day At The Nursing Home
I am an activities assistant at a nursing home facility. Twice I week I am responsible to plan an activity for the patients. Last week we had a dance and played scrabble. This week I wanted to do some arts and crafts because I didn’t want to over exert the patients. We decided we were going to make some funny christian tee shirts. We bought tee shirts and all kinds of things for them to put some funny christian anecdote on their shirts. There were a lot of funny saying on the shirts but my favorite was from a little old lady that said “Under The Influence” then in small writing it said of the spirit. I thought that was very creative.
