My brother and his wife make a lot of money at their jobs but they spend every dime on toys, gadgets and vacations. They have children that they have to provide for and they do that very well except for anything on a long-term basis. If something were to ever happen to one of them they would not be able to keep their house with only one income. I told my brother that he needed to consider getting some life insurance quotes so they could be prepared. He didn’t want to talk about something so uncomfortable but I made him realize how important it really is.
