Overweight Woman Starts Exercise Program With Isometric Exercises
My friend is a personal trainer although we rarely talk about her job. I have been slightly overweight for a few years and it has been an ongoing issue for me. She occasionally makes comments about my lack of exercise, but she does not want to be pushy. I asked her to help me lose the weight and build some muscle. She suggested that I start out slow with a few Isometric Exercises. She explained how they work by contracting the muscles, holding it, and releasing. She mentioned that this alone would cause me a little discomfort because of my inactive lifestyle.
