I am a small business owner who likes to pinch pennies when it comes to my business finances. I used to hate making international phone calls for my business. My phone company has always charged me exorbitant rates to call overseas. On top of that, they had the nerve to tack on additional fees for simply using my phone line to call outside the country. When I mentioned the size of my phone bill to a fellow businessman, he suggested I get a prepaid calling card for my international calls. Now I can call my foreign business contacts without having to pay very much.
