Online Info is Becoming the Leader
I feel that the more we get immersed in all of the technology that exists in our world, the more we will forget about the good old days. I may be too young to remember times before computers, but I definitely remember when you actually had to look in a book for an answer. In today’s world, if the average person was given a book or a computer, chances are they would look in the computer for whatever they needed or wanted to find. Before the internet was everywhere, computers in schools and similar institutions had a lot of information, but in many cases you had to insert the CD-ROM that contained an encyclopedia or a database of articles. Now, online info is making devices like that totally redundant. Online info can be sought after whenever and where ever you are. I think that it is fair to say that online info will soon even surpass printed articles, such as newspapers and magazines. Very often these days I see people using their Kindles or their Nooks viewing a wide variety of articles. Some people use these devices for online info, as a supplement to downloading materials such as books to keep stored on them. There is so much online info between computers and devices like Kindles, but there is still one more device that is taking over all of the online info traffic. The smart phone had now made it available to seek and attain any kind of information, no matter the location. Well I guess there are still some remote locations on this planet with no cell phone signals, but most areas of high population are covered. Whenever there is a question or query, online info is there. One could even argue that it might not be a good thing that we can get online info whenever we want to. Questions are no longer unanswered, which I think can be both good and bad.
