A very useful video this, that I am now going to try and put into practice! I've always had problems knowing how to use light best in photography and generally end up just taking as many photos as possible to cover all effects!

If the background is near the subject, it's difficult to light separately. So i always make sure that there is a good distance between the subject and the background for a better quality shot.

I think it is crazy how precise and accurate photographers have to be in capturing the right amount of light and shadow on their subject. It is truly a category of art and one that takes time to master.
