Free Guitar Lessons: Winning a School Essay Contest
I entered a contest at school. I had to write an essay on what learning to play the guitar would mean to me. The winner of the contest would win free guitar lessons from a talented band member with professional guitar playing experience. I was very happy when I found out I had won. The school loved my essay. The thought it was inspirational. I discussed a sick relative of mine and explained that I would like to play the guitar for her. The judges of the contest loved the emotion that I conveyed in my essay. I could not wait to start learning how to play the guitar.
